Turin
is a city situated in the north-west part of Italy. Its urban area, in which lives over 2.000.000 person, is one of the most important economical and cultural center in Italy. Often called “the little Paris”, from 1861 to 1865 was the first capital of Italy and its gorgeous architecture of the city center is a proof of such historical importance.

The Turin’s airport (Caselle – TRN) is linked to the city center with a bus and there are frequent high speed trains from/to Milan (1h trip) and Rome (4h trip). - City public transport
Here you can find information about the city public transport. Tickets (1.50 euro/90 min. journey) are usually sold in the tobacco’s shop (tabaccheria). - Where to stay
The city center takes about six square kilometres and includes the school and the workshop’s venues.
The workshop’s venue (Aula Magna della Cavallerizza Reale) is in the city center and the school’s venue (Physics dept.) is about 2 Km in south direction. The bus #18 connects both venues. The main railway station (Porta Nuova) is approximately at the half distance between them.Around Porta Nuova railway station (San Salvario district) there are a lot of hotels and restaurants. - City highlights
