Ten applicants will be selected and will be assigned a grant to cover their stay in Italy during the School (February 11-15, 2019) and the Workshop (February 18-20, 2019) periods.
Travel expenses to and from Cogne and Turin, as well as insurance expenses for the whole period, should be covered by the sending Institution.
A CERN visit is scheduled, leaving Cogne February 15 in the early afternoon and returning to Torino on the evening of February 16, 2019.
All the candidates who would like to request a grant must submit their application by email to the following address: i2fest2019-grant@to.infn.it WITHIN January 20th, 2019 12:00pm CET.
Each application should contain:
1) the application form
In the form please insert one or two names – with email – of senior advisor or professor that will send a reference letter to support the application. Reference letters should be sent directly by the advisor/professor to the same email address (i2fest2019-grant@to.infn.it) within the same deadline (January 20th, 2019 12:00pm CET).
For those attending a Combined Master-Doctoral Programme, the Master End Date and the PhD Start Date correspond to the admission by the Programme Board to the Doctoral Years.
2) a short CV in PDF format,
addressing the candidate’s early career and his/her interests in the field of detector, electronics and accelerators.
Applications received within the deadline will be evaluated by a Commission composed of:

- Angelo Rivetti, Director of the INFN Section of Turin
- Marco MAGGIORA, Director of the IHEP-INFN Joint Laboratory
