You are not required to apply for an Italian VISA if:
– you are E.U. citizen
– you already have a valid VISA for the E.U.
In all other cases you need to apply for an Italian VISA.
if you plan to join the Workshop only, please fill the data in the relevant section of the Workshop registration procedure.
If you plan to attend both the Doctoral School AND the Workshop, then please fill the data in the relevant section of the Doctoral School registration procedure and check the check-box at the end of the VISA section of the Workshop registration procedure.
Please note that since the visit to CERN will focus on French CERN sites only you will not need a Swiss VISA in order to join the CERN visit organized by the Doctoral School.
In case of need, VISA Applications should be submitted:
– if you are attending the Doctoral School and the Workshop WITHIN January 22nd, 2019 12:00pm CET
– if you are attending the Workshop only WITHIN January 31st, 2019 12:00pm CET
Please do not underestimate the impact of the celebrations for the Chinese New Year on the VISA application procedure.
